Fathers of both James Jones and Mary Jones, who married in 1842, were both called John Jones, James' father a mason. !

This is the story of Jean Iball's ancestors. On her father's side:

The Iballs congregated in Hawarden, Kinnerton & Hope, Flintshire, from the 1700s to 1934 for her direct ancestors- but still plenty there by that name today!

The Thompsons were Macclesfield based from ~1780 - 1874, Harry moving to Manchester by 1891

The Youds congregated in Kinnerton, Flintshire , from the 1700s to 1934 when Emma Iball/ Youd died. -likely still some there today

Sarah Jones's family lived in Barlaston, Staffordshire - this near Stoke- but her father James was born Ludlow and her mother Mary was from Disserth, Radnorshire

Mary Jones - wife of Edward Iball - her family came from Hawarden

Hannah Booth & parents came from Odd Rode & very nearby Smallwood, Astbury & Church Lawton

Arentina McCall and her parents came from Kirkcudbright, Scotland - how did she end up in Kinnerton?

Mary Jones2 - wife of James Jones, was born Disserth, near Builth, Radnorshire

Rebecca Stubbs was Macclesfield based

And on her mother's side:

The Stylers congregated in Feckenham, Worcestershire from the 1700s to 1877, Thomas moving to Manchester by 1871- likely some still in Feckenham today

The Coopes were in Farnworth from early 1800s, before that in Prestwich

The Dawsons were from Kearsley since 1785 at least, then Farnworth from 1851

The Mycocks concentrated as farmers in Hartington Derbyshire from the 1760s but Jean's gggrandfather Henry escaped to London as just Henry Bowman by 1820

The Raws came from Farnworth

Mary Higson & parents originated in Deane by Bolton

Elizabeth M Bailey was born London Mddx & died in Shoreditch

Jane Jackson and her father originated in Kearsley

Martha Fray - born Bolton le Moors, married in Deane by Bolton, died Deane

Sally Ashworth was born Prestwich 1803

The Bowmans came from Derbyshire in the 1700s
