An Elizabeth Bailey was baptised 24/2/1805 to Thomas & Ann at St James Piccadilly , another one 23/4/1809 to Thomas & Mary Bailey at St Mary Harrow - very dubious -unless she was a few years old when baptised!

1840 Shoreditch Mar 1840 2 372 . Clara Bowman was born to Henry Bowman & Elizabeth Mary . She was baptised to them on 17/2/1840 in the Albion Chapel Presbyterian Church, City of London. Shoreditch was in Mddx until 1889 . Have her b.c.and she was born on 17/2/1840 to Henry Bowman, skin dyer, & Elizabeth Mary Bailey at 1 Whitecross Place, Wilson Street- interesting that she was baptised the day she was born!

1842. Another daughter Alice Bowman was born and was baptised as Alace Bowman in the same church as Clara on 22/6/1842. None of the elder Bowman children, ~1826-1835, were baptised in this church, nor did I find any baptism for them on Ancestry London baptisms
According to the death notice of Alice Bowman in 1855, there were 6 daughters in all.

1847 Henry Bowman died Shoreditch Mar 1847, buried Bunhill Fields Burial Ground, City Road, 11/1/1847, aged 49 yrs, body brought from Wilson Street Finsbury- Ancestry.
