This was an entertaining Power Point presentation by Linda McIntosh, a great-grandaughter of Henry Lewis Osmond - given to the Cape Banks History Society in September 2015- just before I manged to contact her!

Winifred Ormrod, actress, employer,is in 1911C in Wednesbury, Staffs with 2 yr old son Leslie. Leslie goes to sea in 1929 as a commis waiter, marrying in Montreal in 1929. Leslie 1909 has 2 children. Alice Winifred Ormerod commits suicide in 1933, lonely & abandonned
Doris Ethel Osmond born 12/12/1912 in Pontypridd.
He leaves Doris with Catherine Bird, boarding house keeper in Pontypridd. His parents look after Irene

I do not think they went to Haverford West until late 1928. She went on tour with him ~1927 and danced with Gertie Gertana and her 8 Dainty Maids
He also had sons Leslie Arthur W Ormrod 1909 & Gerald H Ormrod 1910-1910, mother Alice W F Partridge, his legal wife. Why did he abandon Alice & Leslie??
His d.c states he was living 1 Acacia Street, Rhydfelin, informant Agda Tulloh-Hatchett, his 2nd born. How do we know about Alice May Davies?
