Unknown photos- with a Belfast frame- found in the home of Evangeline Lyons/Rainsbury on her death in 2009: could they possibly be Richard & Mary?- I do not think so - , or even his parents : might an expert on period dress be able to date them roughly? nothing on their rear side??

His father William Lyons, merchant; hers James Allen Waugh, newspaper reporter. Witnesses Moses Barnett & Rebecca Waugh , her 7 years younger sister

1889. A brother William Alexander Lyons born 31/7/1889 - seen birth entry on above site . But he dies, aged 4 weeks on 30/8/1889 of diarrhoea & exhaustion

1895. Richard Lyons had vacated 2 & 3 Ratcliffe St and a new Drapery store was re opened there on 2/3/1895, under the name of W H Clarke

1918. Richard Lyons, 73, married, retired draper, dies on 17/1/1918 at 6 College Park East, Belfast, of prostatic enlargement & Cardic Failure[operation]. Usual address 187 Antrim Road, home of his son James. Informant was James' father in law, George Myles, of Laurel House, Crieff, Perthshire, present at the death Seemingly no detailed obituary in Irish Newspaper Archives . Buried in Carmoney Cemetery
