1911CC.Henry Schlotthauer,- I cannot find him: there is a Henry aged 11, but obviously cannot be him as father is only 32 on this entry!
1914 Henry Schlotthauer married Barbara Goebel on 27/1/1914 in Wiinipeg. In 1940 they legally changed their german surname to Slater. The m.c.- once seen by A N Other?? - apparently had Schlosshauer on it

| Henry Schlotthauer | 27 | Head |
| Barbara Schlotthauer | 24 | Wife |
| Frieda Schlotthauer | 2 | Daughter |
Obtaining his naturalization document would be good! he would only be 13/14 when he arrived in Canada, so likely, but not certain, that he arrived with his parents
1921CC. On 1 Jun 1921 Henry Schlotzhauer, 30, was living Winnipeg North, Manitoba,. This census says he immigrated in 1902, and has been trancribed by Ancestry as being from Scotland: this word is actually indecipherable and an Ancestry member suggests it might be Saratov, Russia

| Elenora Schlotzhauer | 6 | Daughter |
| Alvina Schlotzhauer | 4 | Daughter |
