I found a 1798 marriage of a Thomas McCunn but not to Elizabeth Hastie . & from daughter's, Jane's, 1877 dc:. her parents were: Thomas McCunn, ropemaker, deceased, & Elizabeth Hastie
They have the following children: Jane 1802- Jennifer has baptism 1802 Inverkip -, Ann 1808, Margaret 1811 & Thomas 1815- he a sailmaker in 1841C- the last 3 all baptised in W/Old Parish Greenock, Renfrew. -FS
1841C . Thomas McCunn , 73, is living Shore Street Inverkip, Renfrew, with Margaret McCunn 65. Has he remarried after his wife Elizabeth died? Also in the house a Janet Brown, widow, with 3 children.
