1943. Sister Winifred Smith died - only aged ~40. Both her parents, John & Emily also died this year.

1977. Her husband, John Thomas R Gunn, born 2/1/1901, died aged 76, 15/1/1977 in the Royal Sussex County Hospiatal- Gaynor has dc. He was a male nurse, retired, and died of cardiac arrest, myocardial infarction, & heart disease. His widow Phyllis was the informant .

1998. Phyllis Amelia Gunn, born 6/10/1905, died Princess Royal Hospital Haywards Heath 9/6/1998 - Gaynor has dc. Her usual address was 14 Stonepound Road, Hassocks. She died of cardiac failure, heart disease and a cerebrovascular accident. The informant was her son Robert John Gunn- alias Bobby - of 16 Elsted Crescent, Hollingbury Brighton.

Daughter Phyllis 1937 remembers her mother talking about the Haylers - were they just friends ?. Does she mean the Hayllars ??- her mother, Phyllis Smith was born to Emily Trelfer, nee Hayllar,so she would have had Hayllar cousins. Also a maternal great grandfather, George Hallyar 1831, did not die until 1914, when Phyllis Smith was ~9.
