Jean Watt 1790 - ??
Jean Watt was baptised 3/10/1790 Perth to Robert Watt & Janet Hay -SP . That I have the correct baptism here is 95% from the fact that a Jean Hay Garvie was born to her in 1829
1811. A Jean Watt married William Garvie in Edinburgh. This odd as both were born in Perth

1812. Son Robert Garvie was baptised to William Garvie and Jean Wall 24/5/1812 Perth . This is wrong: his mother was actually Jean Watt . FS .
Other children were : William 1814, Mary 1816 & Janet 1819, Jean Hay Garvie 1829 all baptised Perth- FS. Also a James~1825 but no baptism for him on FS . As Hay has not occurred in the above Garvie parents, would expect to see Hay as a family name in Jean Watt's ancestors. And a Jean Watt was baptised to Robert Watt & Janet Hay on 3/10/1790 - almost definite though not concrete proof ! that this is our Jean Watt.
1841C. Not found. I found a Jean Garvie 10 living- as the first listed! - with a Cameron family in Blackfriars Wynd. . a George Garvie, 55, blacksmith is living 137 High Street Perth , with Bell 55, Thomas 25, William 23, George 20, John 18 & Mary 12. This is obviously not the same family but could well be a relation . No Jean Garvie born~1790 on 1841C FMP
1845/6 & 1848 William Garvie, smith is in the Perth PO Directory at Blackfriars Wynd - just south of Atholl Street-Charlotte Street
1851C. William Garvie, 64, married, blacksmith is living 72 High Street, Perth with 2 children
| William Garvie | 64 | married . . blacksmith | b.Perth |
| James Garvie | 26 | machine maker | b.Perth |
| Jean Garvie | 21 | domestic duties | b.Perth |
If married, where is his wife Jean ? No death 1855-1861 actually in Perth - SP
He seems to die by 1861C. No dc on SP for a William Garvie 1855-1861, suggesting he died by 1854. But what about Jean Garvie/Watt?
