Viajamos el miercoles lloviendo hasta Ragusa, unas dos horas de viaje. Encontramos el hotel 'San Giorgio Palace' y, despues de aparcar en la carretera abajo, subimos en el ascensor hasta su Recepcion. El edificio era antiguo pero redisenado en un estilo muy moderno. Y habia una panoramica impresionante desde nuestra ventana - o habria sido sin lluvia! Exploramos la ciudad antigua durante noventa minutos, tomamos un cafe y entonces tuvimos que regresar debido a la fuerte lluvia. Cenamos en la cafeteria del restaurante Duomo ( de 2 estrellas Michelin) . La comida fue excelente pero tuvimos problemas con la camarera. Charlamos con el gerente quien lidio con nuestro problema muy bien: recibimos un postre riquisimo con una vela( para mi cumpleanos el dia proximo) y una copa de vino siciliano espumoso. El dia de mi cumpleanos anduvimos hasta la ciudad nueva- del siglo 18! Entramos en su catedral, tomamos un zumo de naranja y regresamos hasta la ciudad antigua, Ragusa Ibla- un paseo de tres horas. Entonces almorzamos en el restaurante Duomo, como regalo para mi cumpleanos. Un almuerzo riquisimo pero el sommelier comitio un error al servir el vino. Recibimos un libro del chef Siccio Sultano. Regresamos al hotel, eche una siesta y salimos a andar una vez mas por las calles tan atractivas y visitamos la iglesia San Gorgio - por un ascensor basico!. Y mas tarde salimos de nuevo a andar y a tomar una copa de vino en un bar/restaurante .
