~1784. Mary Jownson born - or was she actually Mary Johnson??. Either way, no baptism around Winchester- which is actually in Hampshire!!
1802. Mary Jownson marries Joseph Mathews on 25/7/1801 Holy Trinity, Gosport - IGI . Could this be a mistranscription of Johnson??

1841C. Mary Mathews, 54, seemingly not born in Hampshire , P N ??, is living with Robert Mathews, 42, carpenter, & his family in St Georges Square, Portsea. Could she be his sister-in-law?- cannot find a baptism of a Robert that corroborates this theory!
