1851-1854 Michael Joseph Gannon was born to Patrick Gannon & Julia Rogan: these parents are in 1851C in Derby with 3 children, Catherine 1843, Bridget 1846 & Julia Ann 1847. Catherine's death notice gives him as a brother & also death notices for other later siblings give additional proof.
Also a brother John Gannon 1854 , presumably born in England but no record- maybe a twin? He living Jumbana in 1904

This record would give his birth ~1849. He had been issued with 1 pair of blankets, but no pay
1869-1872. He served as a Constable in the Armed Constabulary at Nukumaru from 26-12-1868 to 13-03-1872
According to his daughter's 1881 b.c. he was born Richmond Yorkshire ~ 1852 - but surely unlikely to have been a Constable- as he was in 1868- aged just 16?

Had 2 sons aged 44 & 40 in 1922, and 2 daughters aged 39 & 36 ( thought his eldest daughter was ~41, but have now found children born before his marriage ) . Died of chronic Nephritis- reduces the kidneys' ability to filter waste from the blood - & Cardiac Failure . Informant was the Undertaker
