Seemingly 3 Possibilities - the first seems to definitely be him
1872. John William Scott, 67, dies Poplar Mar 1872 suggesting born 1805, but 1841C gives him as born ~1811, but as ages rounded down in this C, could be nearer 1807? But there was a different John William Scott baptised 1806 in Westminster/Stoke Newington . This death, actually on the 26/12/1871 on the Woodlard, out of Poplar bound for Shanghai, occurred on the Thames, was that of an A.B. seaman, aged 66. Death due to actual decay. His estate was owed £ 1.4.6d -FMP entry, image available
1878. John Scott, 69. dies Poplar Dec 1878 OR
1881C. A John Scott, 71, shipwright, widower, b. Rotherhithe is in the Stepney Workhouse . Could be he- not b. Mddx in 1841C
Cannot find a death for Pamela - she would seem to die before 1881C, as have found Caroline & Benjamin living with siblings
