1885. Mary Anne Sporle, 76, died 23/1/1885 due to a fracture of the thigh in the Incurable Home. 'funeral from Whitepoint', no further details -FMP Irish newspapers. Mistakenly given as wife of Nicholas Sporle, soldier. No family informantNo grave for her in Clonmel Old Church cemetery where her husband was buried with an impressive gravestone in 1879. - perhaps her daughter, Elizabeth Jane Rainsbury, was too preoccupied with her 14th pregnancy, then in its 6th month: but she did bury her 13th child, who died in May 1885, in Clonmel Old Church Cemetery - odd she 'forgot' her mother !
