1892. Ada Birks was born Stoke Dec 1892 to William Birks & Hannah Rowson . In 1939 register her birthdate is given as 29/9/1891- I think the year on this must be wrong .Maybe the last child of at least 8 surviving siblings

1911C.Ada Birks, 18, pottery manufacture, is living with her sister Lilian in the same house as James Mann in Stoke. It is her aunt's house: Emma Crutchley was Emma Rowson, a sister of her dead mother. So likely that she took these 2 nieces in after her sister died in 1901,
