William Cobden born ~1796 in Staffordshire
In 1813 A William Cobden married Sarah Edge in Norton le Moors, Staffs, both of them of Stoke - FMP. This seems very early but his wife was Sarah! Norton le Moors was in the NE of the city of Stoke., 3k from Burslem
Almost certainly the father of Ann Cobden ~1818 . She married 1847, having seemingly had 2 illegitimate children ~1836 & 1841. FMP does not seem to have Staffordshire baptisms!
1841C. William Cobden, 45, waggoner, is living Vale Street, Stoke on Trent, with wife Sarah & 6 children, including Willamina who is a witness at Mary Ann Cobden's marriage in 1847
