1841C . . On Ancestry, there is a Harry- could be Henry - Brookhouse, 15 , born Notts, in St Mary Nottingham with parents Thomas, 55, machine builder & Elizabeth, and sister Caroline 20, dress maker, all 3 not born in the county. A good chance this is he , due to the trade of the father, but then Henry does not call a son Thomas. Cannot find this entry on FMP

1847. Thomas Brookhouse dies Basford Dec 1847 . Basford on the border of Notts and Derbyshire, does not include Radford

1851C. His widow Elizabeth is living with her married daughter . Am fairly certain this is she, although stated fact that she was born outside the county in 1841C is thus proven wrong. Caroline Brookhouse married James Brightmore Radford Jun 1848
