1826. Henry Brookhouse is baptised to Thomas Brookhouse & Elizabeth Ford in Radford on 26/2/1826 - IGI , A sibling Caroline, baptised 21/1/1821 in Nottingham St Mary, who marries a James Brightmore in 1848 . Radford within a mile of centre of Nottingham.

1841C. .Harry- could be Henry - Brookhouse, 15 , born Notts, in St Mary Nottingham with parents Thomas, 55, machine builder & Elizabeth, and sister Caroline 20, all 3 not born in the county- could Radford then have been in a different county? . Cannot find this entry on FMP.

Reasons for divorce

1881C. Henry Brookhouse, 53, lace machine fitter, is living 17 Guys Terrace, Nottingham St Mary, with seemigly a different 'wife', Selina, only 36

The eldest child, Herbert N Key should definitely read Brookhouse. The younger 2 must be connected to Selina . Henry Key is probably a boarder in Radford aged 4 in 1871C! No trace of a Selina Key in 1871C - likely living with yet another 'husband'!! No marriage exists of a male Key to a Selina! Quite a few Selinas around! Would assume that Selina Key gave birth to William when she was ~ 19. And what has happened to Harry Fettyplace Brookhouse??

Henry does not marry Selina until 1889 . Research Selina more July 2016!

1901C. Henry Brookhouse, 74, widower, living on own means, b. Nottingham, is living 8 Wasnidge Street, Nottingham St Mary, with granddaughters Sarah & Ethel Key. These could possibly be his actual children with Selina!, but much more likely to be children of the William or Henry shown in 1881C.

1905. Henry Brookhouse dies Nottingham Jun 1905, 16/6/1905 from Faux Ancestry Famiy tree, stated age 79, agreeing with the 1826 baptism. Do you have his d.c. please??- probably not, d of d from Probate! Probate of £1055 . He left some of his money to his granddaughter, Gertrude Brookhouse,1891, the 'strong' grandmother of Daphne
