Research history: ordered an 1852 m.c of William Thompson to find out the father of Hannah - received 30/11/2013- not the correct marriage.

1856. Reverting to her maiden name, Hannah Booth, 48, widow, married William Thompson, 51, widower, on 18//8/1856 in Prestbury Church. Her father is John Booth, butcher, his Philip Thompson, wharffinger

1857 Sep Macclesfield 8a 100 Harry Thompson was born to parents William Thompson & Hannah Booth/Brownswood on 25/7/1857 at 78 Hurdsfield Road.

1861C.Hannah Thompson, 44, is living 78, Hurdsfield Road, Hurdsfield, Macclesfield, with her husband & assorted children & step children !!

James Knight cannot be issue of Hannah as she was a Brownsword 1839 -1851 Could William Thompson have had a 2nd wife called Knight 1851-1856?? - unlikely!! so stepson maybe should read nephew or something else!
