Info. from a 2003 & 2006 Rootsweb threads: Amy Maria Whincop b April 21, 1882 married on June 10.1905 in Darnall, Sheffield to William Lawton b1881(?) in Grimsby . She died 25/4/1946 at 50 Comberton Rd. Kidderminster. Occupation fish> salesman,1905, clerk(aerodrome 1946)r. Amy Maria Whincop is the grandmother of a Sally Young Canada . She also has Philip Whincop (1882 fisherman, 1905 foreman)- first presumably from 21/4/1882 b.c. and second maybe from his wife's d.c.. Need to try to contact her - can I reply via Rootsweb ??- seemingly not, 2006 message now archived . Searched on Genes: a Marion has her on the tree but not her husband: a Barbara has him, but not her! And no one has the daughters. Mary Lawton 1908 and Kathleen Lawton 1911 - Sally the daughter of one of these - a second cousin to Tony!. The Lawton family are living 115 Brereton Ave in 1911C; Amy Maria's father, Philip Whincop 1856, was living 255 Brereton Avenue in 1916!
