All these births recorded on FS except for no. 10 that was in England. 4 of these children had died by 1911, almost certainly the first 3. And one other between 1881 & 191.: can only be Agnes , Robert, William or Graham
1. Thomas 22/11/1858 Renfrew. Died before 1881. Does not seem to die in Scotland -SP. So Ireland or England??
2. William 6/4/1860. Renfrew. Died before 1870 . Does not seem to die in Scotland -SP A William Houston, aged 7, died in Belfast in 1865 . Or England?
3. Alexander 18/1/1862. Renfrew. From SP - an Alexander Newton died in 1898 in Renfrewshire, mother Newton, death age suggesting born 1864: this must surely be he. An Alexander Houston died in Belfast, aged 3 in 1864 . Could increase the possibilites of these children being his by seeing if these names were born in Ireland at the right time.
4. John 2/3/1864 Renfrew. Still alive 1920
5.Agnes Dow 14/8/1866 Renfrew. Still alive in 1881. No seeming marriage on FS 1881-1911 in Renfrewshireor Lanarkshire. No death either. But might have married or died where her parents were living 1884-1899
6.Robert Graham 24/4/1868 Renfrew. Still alive 1881
7. William 31/3/1870 Kilkeel, co. Down, Ireland but given as born Renfrew in Census entries!. Still alive 1891
8. Helen 12/12/1871 Renfield Street Renfrew- registered 1872 Died 1960
9.. Hugh Patison 7/7/1873 Renfrew Still alive 1911
10 Graham 1875 Ulveston Cumbria. Alive in 1881
11. Thomas 14/7/1881 Renfrew Still alive 1920
