Born to Robert Graham , weaver - from 1899 d.c. No mother given. Almost certainly in Old Monkland, Lanarks
No sensible baptism on SP or on FS to a Robert Graham 1810-1815. All in Glasgow, not to east near Old Monkland. Maybe earlier? But there are baptisms 1813 & 1814 of an Agnes Graham in Paisley, both to John Grahams, one wife, Janet Cameron, the other Jean Cameron. Could Old Monkland be incorrect on all the census entries - or could there be 2 Old Monklands???
1829. Agnes Graham married Thomas Houstoun11/12/1829 in Renfrew SP & FS. Had mistakenly thought it was in Lochwinnoch- about 10 miles SW of Paisley.
1841C. Agnes Houston, 26, living Fulbar Street Renfrew with her husband, 4 children and his likely brother and mother, albeit given as Ellen rather than Mary, Houston.

Thus they have given birth to children 1831-1858: this is feasible as Agnes was very young when she married in 1829.
1871C. Agnes Houston, 57, thus birth ~1814, married, wife of waterman, b. Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, is living at 21 Renfield Street, Renfrew, with daughter Hannah 13. So where is her husband? Also, on 12/12/1871, her granddaughter Helen Houston is born in Renfield Street - at Agnes's house??
1877. Her husband, Thomas Houston, labourer, 77, dies at 21 Renfield Street, Renfrew on 4/8/1877 of cancer of the stomach. Parents William Houston, weaver, & Ellen Wilson. Informant was his widow, Agnes Houston.
1881C. Agnes Houston, 69, thus birth ~1812, widow, b. Craigends, Lanarkshire is living alone at 21 Renfield Street . Craigends is ~8 miles NE of Lochwinnoch, near Houston - feel this just carelessly entered !
