So Hugh Dow would have married Agnes Cameron 1800-1811, probably around Fort William .No marriage of Hugh Dow to Agnes Cameron, or anyone else!, on FS
1841C. A Hugh Dow, 70, labourer, Jane Dow 75 and Mary Dow 30, all born outside Lanarks, living School Wynd Barony Lanarks
Hugh's daughter , Agnes Dow, did marry in Glasgow in 1835 and is living in the Gorbals in 1841C. But no proof here that this is my Hugh Dow - is quite an unusual name.
1851C. I cannot find any of these 3. But Mary Dow b.~1811 could well have married.
