1841C. A Hugh Dow, 70, labourer, Jane Dow 75 and Mary Dow 30, all born outside Lanarks, living School Wynd, Barony, Lanarks
Hugh's daughter, Agnes Dow, did marry in Glasgow in 1835 and is living in the Gorbals in 1841C. But no proof here that this is my Hugh Dow - is quite an unusual name.
1851C. I cannot find any of these 3. But Mary Dow b.~1811 could well have married.
