1911-1917. She maybe continued living with her mother, who was matron at the Salvation rmy Home of Rest, Carleton House, Margate from 1914-1924
Likely around 1917 she became a Salvation Army Captain (in the 1924 Retirement article on Christiana's page, Christiana states that her 2 daughters were Salvation Army Officers)
1921C Christina Blundell was living Thanet with her daughter, Catherine Lillis Gordon, Rosa May and 1 other . Probably in Carleton House??
1923. Captain Lillie Blundell was living Rhinefiels, Thornleigh Rd, Woolston, Nr Southampton as her sister, Gladys, sent a postcard to her mother, addressed to 'Mrs Major Blundell, c/o Capt. Blundell, Rhinefiels, Thornleigh Rd, Woolston, Nr Southampton': Christiana seemingly visiting her daughter Lillie there at that time. The postcard was of The Cenotaph, Whitehall, postmarked Paddington W.2-17 Oct 1923. No mention of a Captain Blundell in Southamton this year in FMP Newspapers
(1924 onwards her mother was a Soldier at Hadleigh, Balham, Whyteleaf, Plumstead, and Welling). Unsure where Lillie was stationed- I looked her up in FMP Newspapers, but found nothing
and from 1928 Lillie was thought to have helped to look after her niece, Marjorie Price, whose mother, her sister, Gladys Price/Blundell , had been hospitalised permanently after Marjorie's 1927 birth
1930ish. Marjorie thinks she was quite small when Christiana & Lillie moved to 'The Gables' Whyteleafe, Surrey. Marjorie started school whilst living there
Now let me return to my life with Grandma and Auntie Lillie. At one stage a young male officer was appointed to the Corps at Whyteleafe (about 10k S of Croydon) . He was Scottish and a good officer. He and my Auntie Lillie 'fell in love' and wanted to get married. However she was quite a bit older (16 years) than him which was difficult for the Salvation Army to accept so they resigned as Salvation Army officers.'- memories of Marjorie Price
1936 Catherine L G Blundell, 39, married John Logan, 23 Surrey S E Jun 1936.

1936. Both, Lillie & John resigned as Army Officers, the S A being unhappy with their marriage( due to Lillie being 16 years older than John). .John Logan (who Marjorie called Uncle Jack) became a Chapel Minister in Plumstead and they moved from Whyteleafe to a house in Bostal Heath near Abbey Wood.( 2 k E of Plumstead)

Post card of John/Jack Logan & Catherine Lillie Gordon Logan /Blundell and their daughter Amaris. No date on the photo: maybe around 1940
Amaris married James Richardson on 11/4/1959.

1939Register.Christina Blundell,, born 4/12/1864, retired Salvation Army, widowed, was living 8 Taleswood Drive, Bexley, Kent, with her married daughter, Catherine L G Logan .
