~1827 William Bacon married Mary Warden. Maybe around Coventry or Kemilworth/ Nothing found on Ancestry, FMP or FS in Coventry Warwicks or Staffs. Eliza's 1839 b.c. gave her mother's maiden name as Warden .
A William Bacon married a Mary Smith 9/10/1828 Nuneaton Warwicks - this only ~10 m. N of Coventry - But not our marriage as 2 different named children baptised there 1828-31 and this William Bacon with wife Mary Smith are living in Nuneaton in 1841C .
Another William Bacon of Cosby- Leics- married a Mary Robinson in Blaby in 1827 - Pallotts, on Ancestry. Blaby a fair way from Coventry, maybe 20-25 miles to the NE, where she was born. Blaby and Cosby are very close, but not near Uttoxeter- some 40 miles apart! -where our William seems to have been born . But date is about right- children born from 1829-1849. This is not he- this family are living in Cosby in 1851C!!
Basically there are several couples of William & Mary Bacon in Leics, Staffs & Warwickshire of roughly the same age

Lives in Kenilworth and then moves to Coventry by 1830, staying there until ~1838.

1861C. William Bacon, 54, widower, lodger, carpenter, b. Uttoxeter, is living Aston, Birmingham, Warwickshire, with the Mills family- found on Ancestry only! Also found Isaac as a lodger, but no Edwin, Emma, Harriett or David! Could they all have emigrated?? Birmingham over 20 miles from Coventry
1866. A William Bacon dies, aged 53, Coventry Jun 1866 ? age well out!!! Buried 10/5/1866 London Road Civic Cemetery, Coventry- FMP- this the same cemetery where his wife was buried - this thus gives birth as 1813!!. But possible noone knew his true age- he was not living with any of his family in 1861.
