The ship had a rock and roll night so that I gave Pilates a miss. Had breakfast and straight to Elizabeth's talk on the Viking Norse. Had an early siesta and then I went to Kimberley's talk on Future destinations, but all on the Classic fleet! Had a zodiac tour with Joe of the gannet and guillemot cliffs of Runde: also saw sea eagles.

Played Trivia, then Recap and Briefing, dinner in the Terraza
Started with Pilates and then needed a walk on deck and collected our fresh orange juice from the Terraza to drink there in lieu of breakfast, We were very comfy lying there in our parkas but then they put their German music on at. Top volume: eventually asked them to turn it down, but after 19 more minutes of no action, we had to abandon it. On the way down we met Martin who said he would fix it, and apparently did, as it was reasonable at lunch time! ‘But too late for us .German lunch at Hot Rocks with softer German music!. Sara´s lecture at 2.30 on mushrooms was interesting. Then a wine Pairing with chocolate at 4, a Sauternes, a N Z Shiraz, a Super Tuscan and an Amazonian. A swim at 6 as we crossed the Arctic Circle, the timing serendipitous!, Recap and briefing and then a massage with Michelle,not over impressed. . Met up with David in the Panorama lounge and he had saved me some canapés!, before a pleasant dinner in the restaurant chatting to a Scottish couple
