We returned from our trip to Vietnam on the Orion 2 on New Year's Eve, just in time to welcome in 2012. We bought our new car, a 2-seater BMW Z4, again bright yellow, at the start of March. We had a few days round Spain in that, staying near Salamanca , Segovia and then Trujillo, stopping in Guadalupe on the road back to Moraira- no photos here of the latter three !

Late April we went over to Corisande to pack up the house, continuing to London & Ireland for a week in each.. In May Joanna came out with Nicky for a week, and shortly afterwards our possessions from Corisande arrived . Also an urbanisation pool party was well attended in the summer

Our first major trip of the year, after a week en route in Gallipoli, was with Wild Frontiers, along the Silk Road from Bishkek to Tashkent in August. We flew to Malta and our new flat there in September. In mid November we set off on a cruise from Egypt to India sailing Safaga, via Petra, to Mumbai and onwards to the Taj Mahal. Then a quick turn round before spending Christmas & New Year in Malta..
