David McKendrick 1770 & Earlier McKendricks
All the following data on FS.

Kinclaven Church where McKendricks were baptised and married 1739 until 1817 at least. Kinclaven some 15 miles north of Perth
1739 Alexander Mckendrick was baptised to Dav. Mckendrick on 20/5/1739 in Kinclaven. Also Elizabeth Mcendrick was also baptised to David Mcendrick in 1749
Graham's chart - from cousin Ian - has McKendrick siblings: Margaret b. 1776, Catherine 1778, Isobel 1783-1871 & James 1785, the first 2 born West Kirco, Kinclaven, the last 2 in Muirhead of Kirco, Kinclaven These would seem to be siblings of David 1770.
1760-1770.. I cannot find a Perthshire marriage of a Margaret Gow to Alexr Mckendrick, even allowing for spelling differences. But, in
1770. David MacKendrick was baptised to Alexr Mackendrick & Margaret Gow in Kinclaven on 17/4/1770. He was their eldest child: others were Elizabeth 1782, Isobel 1783 & James 1785, now also found the above Margaret & Catherine.
1795. David McKendric married Emillia Watson on 19/1/1795 Kinclaven Perth. He was a Crofter- this given on the 1897dc of his son William.
They had the following children, all baptised in Kinclaven: Ann 1796, Margaret 1797, Alexander 1797, Elizabeth 1800, Emelia 1803, David 1805, Jannet 1807, William 20/11/1809 Brownmuir, James 1810 Brownmuir, Catherine 1812 Brownmuir, & John 1817 Brownmuir. The owner of Graham's chart has the OPR entries for the last 4 births
Both David MacKendrick & his wife seem to be dead by 1841. No elderly Mckendrick, or variation in spelling, in 1841C, Ancestry or FMP , in Perthshire other than the ones below
But in the 1841C there is still a McKendrick family living Brown Muir, Kinclaven, with Janet 75, Andrew 45, Alexander 35 and Ann 50. Interesting - one day I might be able to link them into my tree
Some of these folk in 1861C living Kinclaven at Easter Brownmuir : Alexr unm. farmer, 55, Ann 74 sister , Jannet widow 72 and others younger
James Mckendrick 1810 labourer died 30/12/1854 in Nethergate, Dundee
Catherine McKendrick 1812 domestic servant died 29/4/1877 at 82 South Street, Perth - these 2 are siblings of our William 1809
