1937. Emily Hesp, born 1918 Strathmore, Alberta crossed into/or out of? the US at Eastport, Idaho- this >300 miles from Strathmore - Ancestry . I cannot decipher this card but Forrest E Hesp appears on it . the other side of the card says 'Going to Vancouver for the summer' . This side seems to say: Occupation Domestic, 19 yrs 7 mths, father Forrest E hesp, Coronation. Also 'had lost purse'! or is the name Jonz/Janz in this ??

Probably ~1938 Emily moved away from Alberta to Ontario- to study?
1940? or 1938?? Appears on a Voters list as a student in King Street, York, Ontario
1942. Emily Hesp married Robert Arthur Stanley on 1/8/1942 . Press cutting with many details on Robert's page. Her parents did not attend- being far away in Alberta. Emily & Robert went to Niagara for their honeymoon and then moved to Edmonton, where he was stationed

1961. Emily Mildred Stanley, 41, died, of breast cancer, 20/3/1961. She is buried in Pine Hills Cemetery, Toronto . "She presented with a lump and the doctor told her it was "nothing" and gave her tablets. Then a month or so later she went to a 2nd doctor who did the same. Finally she went to a third doctor who took X-rays and she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She then had a radical mastectomy but unfortunately it had spread by then and she passed away within 3 months."
