1821. A Margaret Dillon baptised 22/4/1821, born 29/10/1820 to James, carpenter, & Jane , address Lower Cornwell St , St Geo in the East . On the same day, William Dillon, born 1816 was baptised. Earlier , in 1802, James Dillon was born & baptised; in 1804/5 Thomas Dillon was born/baptised; 1810 James Dillon was born & baptised; in 1812 & 1814 William Dillon was born & baptised, father a soldier, address St Marylebone. And James Dillon 1818 & John Dillon 1823 were baptised together in 1824, father a carpenter, abode Lower Cornwell St , St Geo in the East -Ancestry
I have a feeling this is she, She does call her 2nd daughter Jane and her 2nd son Thomas James
No marriage on Ancestry London marriages or in Cornwall of a James to a Jane
As at least 3 of 'her' children ( Jane 1849, William Henry 1856 & Charles Frederick 1859) were born to Margaret Dillon, but 1861 George's mother was Margaret Smith . Neither of these 2 actually married John Howson
3 other children, John W 1846, Margaret 1848 and Thomas James 1852, baptised Whitechapel, father a saddler, are just NOT registered!

And a Jane Dillon, b.1791, admitted, destitute, to Tower Hamlets Workhouse from Grays Buildings on 27/11/1851; dies there 22/11/1859, Marylebone Dec 1859. She, 64, in Grays Buildings as a visitor in the house of Ann Kell, 51, widow, , b. Cornwall, in 1851C . Not found in 1841C, but again Workhouse admission 15/3/1840 to 19/5/1841 for a Jane Dillon born 1778!- Ancestry
ALSO a Margaret Smith, b.Mddx, 21, dressmaker, living Stepney, Whitechapel in 1841C,! . But once widowed our Margaret works as a Laundress and a Charwoman rather than doing dress making!
