Would probably need the b.c. of Thomas William Jones 1845 to verify his mother was Mary Temprell. Nothing on IGI, Ancestry nor FMP for birth of Mary Temprell. She from Great Milton ~ 12k NW of Watlington

No Temprells found in 1841C in Oxfordshire - this really odd!! 2 other marriages in Rotherham 1840 and B.G. 1848 . Just 2 deaths 1847 Sheffield and 1857 B.G. & 2 births Chesterfield 1857 & 1859 - over period 1838-1860. Thus a dying breed!!

Do not see how Edwin can be 7- unless he was in fact born to Mary before their marriage: George surely could not have married any Mary XX before 1836 ?? . Also Edwin was born Gt Milton, like his mother, and unlike any of his siblings
