Elsie Florence Heard 1889-1950
ELSIE FLORENCE GASPAR, nee HEARD
My paternal Grandmother suffered a crippling stroke just before I was born and she died when I was aged two. Sadly, I have zero memory of her. She inherited from mother-in-law Queenie a fine sapphire ring, which later passed to my Mother ‘Mollie’ and through her to my present wife Michelle. My Mother was particularly admiring of EFG’s warm, sociable and loving personality – ‘She could turn any event into a party’
