Frederick Paul Dwight Gaspar 1879- 1949
I only know about Dwight via my Mother Joan Hickson nee Gaspar. My Mother absolutely adored her Dad. He was a solicitor in London with his own practice. I know when Dwight and Malcolm spent some time in Darjeeling as we have a silver cup of Dwight’s for a running race at school. 1879. Frederick Paul Dwight Gasper, was born to Nicholas Malcolm Gasper & Hosannah Jordan on 16/3/1879 at 5 Coster/Coates Place, Edinburgh, father still 'pleader in small cause court, Calcutta
1890s. He attended school in Darjeeling, where he won a cup for running -Annie
He later went to Cambridge, 1899?, then became a Solicitor. His descendants -Annie Scott- have an Ancestry tree, written by a friend, Patricia. .
1901C. Frederick P Gaspar ,22, solicitor's clerk, is living with the Galer family in Camberwell

Daughter Joan Queenie Gaspar born Paddington Mar 25/3/1921. Later married Vera/Vere A Hickson ( he born 1920 Ashby de la Zouche) Westminster Mar 1947 and they had a child, now Annie Scott - but no Hickson child born to a mother Gaspar!! - on bmd- so still not clear who Annie Scott is!! Joan Queenie Hickson died Merton Oct 1997- probate records end 1995

1947. His daughter, Joan Q Gaspar married Vera/Vere A Hickson Westminster mar 1947 . Engagement in the Times, his address 52 Buckingham Court, London W11
1949. Both he and his wife, he aged 70, buried Gunnersbury. She died 4/8/1949, and his death followed 6 weeks later , on 16/9/1949. He was resident at 21 Matlock Court, Kensington Park Road, W11, but died at 7 Knaresborough Place, SW5 . Probate, to a solicitor, of £16050
