There is a fair bit of information about Drumlemble's mining history on line, including pictures of the village. 

His father died in 1809 and his mother maybe around 1840- have asked Alan

1826. Neil Thomson married Margaret Peddan on 6/4/1826 in Campbeltown - Ancestry old parish Registers

1831. Walter Thomson was born to Neil & Margaret in Campbeltown . .I cannot find this on SP . His parents are on his 1856 m.c.
