More about Joan Dunn : She continued to live at no. 54. Lightburn Road until her death in the 60s. She was my father's stepmother of course, and we used to visit her there. I have a distant memory as a small child of 'Uncle Jimmy' living there too. It turns out that he was Jimmy Harkness, the brother of my grandmother Margaret Harkness i.e. Joan's half brother. I have his actual death certificate from 1955 showing the lethal lung damage typical of miners in those days. The Harknesses and Dunns never fail to complicate the family history.
1965. Joan Hogg Dunn, 67, dies Calderhead 1965 -SP . Buying this record would give me her parents, but I know them from her 1920 m.c., and exactly where & when she died, and what she died from. But, Anne might have it anyway?
