An Anne Bradshaw, aged 33, is buried Padiham on 17/3/1825,- cause Parturition- and one week later her child Mary - parents James, weaver, & Anne- is buried, 27/3/1825, aged 1 week, having been baptised on 26/3/1825, abode Padiham ..Mary 1825 was the child of James & Ann Dewhirst who married Padiham in 1822-FMP

1839. James Bradshaw, 1yr 4mths, son of William & Jane Bradshaw, is buried 28/5/1839 Padiham - LOPC . No baptism on LOPC 1838-9
1840. Thomas Bradshaw was seemingly born to William & Jane in Padiham on 1/8/1840 . Burnley Sep 1840 .
But he is not baptised until 1844- Padiham 18/1/1844 to just Jane Bradshaw, weaver, date of birth 1/8/1840
his father, William Bradshaw, possibly dying Burnley Dec 1843: this d.c would confirm, or not, - by the age- that it could be the correct one and give his occupation. No burial in all Lancashire on LOPC 1838-1843!!- and 4 deaths in just 1843 in Lancashire - thus proving that LOPC is very incomplete!
But no burial in Padiham or nearby- LOPC

1843.Burnley Dec- this is the only Burnley death for William Bradshaw late 1839 onwards- thus guess he was just missing from home on the 1841C- but no burial in Padiham or nearby- LOPC- but this proven to be incomplete!
Padiham is a small town on the River Calder, about 3 miles (5 km) west of Burnley and south of Pendle Hill. It is part of the Borough of Burnley but also has its own town council.
The name Padiham is derived from the Anglo-Saxon personal name Padda and an ingaham suffix. The first recorded mention of the town, as 'Padyngham', dates from 1294. In the Inquisition of Henry de Lacy taken Feb 16th 1311 it is spelt Padiham.
