None of the witnesses seemed to be family- but there is ?Alexander? Stevenson, maybe a brother of his mother??. Isabella could not write . His address was 101 ?Maitland? Street: hers 254 Dalmain Road.

1911C. Looked up on SP . Cannot find him anywhere in Scotland aged 72-77 - he should be 74 in the census. His son, Peter Mcnee 1862, appears in Calton, aged 49 - have not purchased the whole census!
Seemingly still alive in 1914 when his daughter Jessie marries- His wife having died
Looked up SP for his death but could find nothing 1908-1939 anywhere in Scotland for him- could one of his children have moved to England?? Yes, his daughter Jessie Barnes moved south with her doctor husband, Edgar Barnes and they were in Gateshead in 1919. Thus almost certain that
