George Armitage 1857- 1938
.
Christopher Robinson - aged ~ 40?, then ~1897 , and his wife, Elizabeth Armitage b.1852?: sister of George 1857
"Looking at his regalia his apron indicates that he is the Provincial Grand Standard Bearer for the Province of West Yorkshire: after he spent his year as Worshipful Master he would need to wait 7 to 10 years minimum to be appointed as a Provincial Grand Officer. I would put the date around 1900.
You may be able to ascertain exactly who it is by contacting the Provincial Grand Secretary of the Province of West Yorkshire, they will have a website and contact details. Explain what you are doing he may help you. They should have records of all their active provincial officers going back to the time of the photograph." - Bill
20/3/2020 I have contacted the Provincial Grand Office for the Province of West Yorkshire- via a form on their website
