Married William Thomas Lemon Prankard 2/7/1911 in Roath Church - image on Findmmypast, yet to capture!. He was aged 34, boarder at 34 Aberdovey Street, Boot repairer, b. Wincanton [6/4/1877 -IGI] Devon in the 1911C. Witnesses were James Gosling and Albert Gosling. Her father a master baker, his a mason. her address 39 Bertram Street, his 132 Broadway
They had 1 daughter Irene Prankard 1912 & 1 son Frederick Prankard 1916..
1912.. August. Her father James Parchment leaves for a new life in Canada . The Bertram Street shop is taken over by her - and husband?
Miriam Prankard was known as Auntie Mil [ to Harold's children]. William Prankard was a shoe repairer and she worked in a shop at Theodora Street / Broadway[ thus did not stay at 39 Bertram Street] and Thelma/Karen think he may have worked out of that shop as well. "She used to come and visit us and my impression of her was a very large, kind, jolly lady I also remember vaguely Irene, she lived in the grounds of Cardiff Castle, her husband being Head Gardener there.
