Monday June 13th. Harstad and Sundsvollsundet

Went ashore and boarded the coach for the Trondenses historical centre and medieval farm tour. This started with a 40 minute drive round the  houses to give us views over the town and beyond, somewhat misty!. Eventually got to the old stone church which was worth seeing. Then to the adjacent  historical centre which was very dark and with uneven floor, signs impossible to read, There was a section on Harstad during the war. Then we walked along the shore for  a while, returning to see the medieval farm, interesting. Back to the boat 15 minutes late.

A lavish main restaurant lunch, a siesta and s swim before having a lateral flow test at 4, followed by a zodiac tour of a fantastic kittiwake colony.

 

Cruise video and expedition staff farewell. A long cocktail time in the Panorama lounge, dinner in the Terraza and an early night
