Quepos, Costa Rica 2019

Lunes, el 28 de octubre.
Llegamos a Quepos. Salimos a las ocho para el rafting en el rio Sauvegre, un viaje de una hora y media hasta el punto de salida. Vimos un perezoso en ruta. Tambien paramos para banos donde habia vistas buenas de las plantaciones. Estabamos en un 'barco' con Babsi y Tanya y el guia, Orlando. Tuve miedo de las olas y las rocas por los primeros 5 minutos pero me tranquilice el resto de tiempo. Era muy lindo. Habia muchas plantaciones de aceite de palma. Vimos ' ibis, egrets, herons, storks, rosado spoonbills' y cormorantes . Habia agua y fruta al fin de este rafting, antes de regresar al pueblecito donde los zodiacs.

A bus took us from the ship, for an hour into the hills. There were acres of the ubiquitous Palm Oil plantations - Costa Rica claims that they have just been replanted on old Banana Plantations, and that no new forest has been cleared. .

There was about 10 minutes of white water at the start but, after that, I was able to enjoy the experience, with interesting sightings |
