1840. I suspected that Elizabeth Dockery (Groom) was born to single mother Ann Dockery , but there is no registration for rhis birth 1839/1840 , and our Elizabeth is born to a mother Dockery in May 1841- and this Before the census!

1841C Timothy Groom, 21, a shoemaker's son, was living with his parents, wife Ann and a daughter, Elizabeth, already 1 here, in High Street, Irthlingborough, Wellingborough . This census was taken on 6/6/1841, So, Elizabeth was 1 month old!

Original entry certainly gives Elizabeth's age as 1, and not as 1mth!!
1841. Banyard Ancestry tree has Elizabeth Groom born 7/5/1841 in Irthlingborough Wellingborough Jun 1841, mother Dockery( & brother William 1847 also has mother Dockery)
1849. His wife, Ann Groome, died Wellingborough Sep 1849.. Anne Groome was buried on 24/9/1849 in Irthlingborough - FMP, no age given
1851C. Timothy Groome, 32, widower, shoemaker, was living with his widowed pauper mother, 2 children and a lodger in Irthlingborough, Wellingborough
