1809. Richard Jones baptised to Richard Jones & Patience in Pontesbury on 30/4/1809 -FMP- & he does call children Richard & Patience! Siblings - Pontesbury baptisms found on FMP 1800-1814 were: John.Jones 2/2/1800!, Sarah Jones1802, Thomas Jones 1804, Mary Jones 1805 & Ann Jones 1807

1825-1832. Richard Jones married Jane, probably Bradney . An 1830 marriage in Shrewsbury to Jane Bradney- I thought unlikely, but now see 3 Ancestry family trees have her as his wife. And a Jane Bradney was indeed baptised Pontesbury 26/11/1811 to just Susannah Bradney - Ancestry - not on FS/FMP. Pontesbury ~12 k SW of Shrewsbury. So,

1841C. There is a Patience Jones, 55, shop keeper, living Asterley, Pontesbury with Robert Jones, 20, ag.lab - this likely Richard's mother. No Pontesbury burial for his father 1821-1841 on FMP - is a burial 1833 but this Richard was born 1754, seemingly too old . A Richard Jones, b. 1771, is buried Pontesbury in 1813, but feel this too early as the seeming son Robert above would have been born 1817-1821: but cannot find a baptism for him. As no baptisms found to Richard & Patient after 1809, this possibly is our Richard's father
