1819 William Hardie born to Thomas Hardie, spirit merchant, & Katharine Rudimann in Cramond on 12/8/1819 -SP. cert. not bought
1845- 1852 William Hardie married Isabella McDonald - BUT, cannot find this on SP!! So was it a common law marriage ??. Could marriage have been as late as the 1860s??

Could she have been born as Isabella Mcdonald??. Are there births for siblings George & Christina?? Cannot find them

1879. William Hardie died on 8/5/1879 or 2/1/1879- both cabinet makers!- The former is his death,! . Probate of 182 pounds to Walter McLachlan, jeweller, Ncholson Street. The d.c states he is the widower of Isabella McDonald .Parents Thomas Hardie, spirit merchant,and Catherine Ruddmann. And the Informant is a William Hardie, son: when was he born??? . . .
