A James Mason was baptised Barony [Glasgow] on 10/7/1759 to William Mason & Margaret Brison - but no proof at all that these are actually the parents of our James and he does not call any of his children William!
1783. James Mason married Mary Crawford in 1783 Glasgow. Not on FS. Just on SP, not bought. He was a Wright - from 1855 d.c of his son Matthew Mason
1784. Matthew Mason was baptised to them 10/7/1784 Glasgow
1786 Ann Mason was baptised to them 19/5/1786 Glasgow
1790 Niel Mason was baptised to them 21/4/1790 Barony Glasgow
Both James & Mary Mason seemingly dead before the 1841C
