Oxford & Winchester
We flew to Gatwick and then drove to Woodstock on the 25/2/2019 in order to get a second opinion with Mr Will Jackson at the Nuffield, Oxford

Stayed the first night at the Glove House in central Woodstock. The Bladon room was very comfortable |

Breakfast was very civilized in its downstairs parlour & we enjoyed talking to Frederico |

Wandered around Woodstock and had afternoon tea in the Blenheim Buttery |

In the evening we ate at the Woodstock Arms, pleasant service, good food and a good ambiance |

Then drove to the Nuffield in Headington. We were impressed by Mr Jackson & have decided to risk another new knee later in the year: 70% chance of a better result! No pictures here- did not want the surgeon to think us nutty!

From Headington we headed to Stratford on Avon, surmounting a puncture, where we enjoyed super food & a good chat with Di & Tony |

Next day, spring having vanished, we drove to Twyford, where Fi & Dick plied us with drink & food, Stephen joining us there |

Friday morning we caught up with Oscar for 3 hours |

Then back to Alicante via Easy Jet, with some drunken passengers from Essex just behind us
